Golden Eagle Divers Make A Big Splash at Westminster

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Christina Sather set Westminster pool records in the 1m and 3m Dives, and Clarion divers won three of the four individual titles at their diving tune-up on Saturday.  Sather claimed two of those three individual titles while Cary Johns won the Men’s 1m Dive event.

Sather appeared to be in strong form on Saturday, blowing away the competition in the field and breaking two Westminster pool records in the process.  She won the 1m Dive with a score of 284.95, topping teammate Emma Kehn‘s 240.85, and also won the 3m Dive with a score of 301.95.  Kehn also took second place in the 3m Dive, scoring a 281.55, while Maranda Leidwinger took third place.

On the men’s side, Johns had a strong showing in the 1m Dive, pacing the field with a score of 332.45.  He went on to take second in the 3m Dive with a score of 308.75.
