Clarion Rotary Names 2018 Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Candidates

 

Members of the 2018 RYLA Candidates were introduced at the May 7, 2018 Clarion Rotary Club meeting. RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. RYLA is a week long program for high school students entering in their junior year and is held annually in June at Westminster College.  The Clarion Rotary Club is sponsoring 13 students from Clarion County high schools and those students were introduced at the meeting.

The speaker for the meeting was Katie Kupp, a former RYLA participant and a graduate of North Clarion High School and Edinboro University. Ms. Kupp will start a PHD Chemistry Program at Vanderbilt University this fall.

The Clarion Rotary Club RYLA Committee includes; Trueman Mills, Jeannie McCleary , Jamie Lefever.
