Clarion Wrestling Ranked 19th in NWCA Mid-Major Poll

MANHEIM, Pa. – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) released its only Mid-Major Top 20 of the season on Wednesday, with Clarion entering in at 19th on the list.  They were one of four Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) schools on the list, and one of three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) schools that field Division I wrestling to make the rankings as well.

Formulated last season, the Mid-Major Top 20 concentrates on the programs that fall outside of the traditional “Power 5” conferences.  Six coaches representing different non-Power 5 conferences voted.
